Job summary

DRB-HICOM Berhad seeks an experienced Safety, Health and Environment Assistant Manager for its operating company to enforce DOSH requirements and ISO standards, promote safety awareness, and coordinate with regulatory bodies. You will plan and investigate incidents, conduct risk assessments, train staff in first aid and safety procedures, manage documentation, and report to senior officials.

A Bachelor's degree in OSH or Environmental discipline and 5+ years in SHE, preferably in manufacturing,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in OSH or Environmental discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of SHE experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Proficient in QMS, EMS, OSHAS and related standards.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Enforce safety rules per DOSH and ISO standards and raise safety awareness.
• Plan, investigate and report incidents, accidents and near misses; conduct risk assessments.
• Coordinate training in safety, first aid, CPR, and inspections.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies and respond to safety concerns.
• Respond to emergencies and manage hazardous waste coordination.
