Job summary

HTC Global Services MSC Sdn Bhd is seeking a SharePoint & Microsoft Teams Support Engineer to provide operational support, administration, troubleshooting and continuous improvement for SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams and Microsoft 365 services.

The successful candidate will work closely with business users and technical teams across the full solution lifecycle, including requirements gathering, solution design, UAT, deployment and hypercare.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field
• Experience supporting and administering Microsoft SharePoint / SharePoint Online and Microsoft Teams
• Good understanding of Microsoft 365 services and cloud-based collaboration platforms
• Experience in Incident Management and Service Request Management within an IT support environment
• Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform, particularly Power Apps and Power Automate
• Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for Microsoft 365 and collaboration solutions
• Experience preparing and maintaining technical documentation, SOPs and operational procedures
• Good communication skills with the ability to work directly with business users and technical stakeholders
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a project and operations environment
• Preferred: SharePoint Online Administration, Microsoft Teams Administration, Microsoft 365 Administration, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Platform, SharePoint On-Premises, Microsoft Azure / Public Cloud, ITIL / IT Service Management, Incident & Service Request Management, UAT and Deployment Support, Technical Documentation and User Training

Responsibilities

• Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for SharePoint Online and Microsoft Teams, including administration and operational support
• Manage daily Incidents and Service Requests for SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams and other Microsoft 365 services in accordance with agreed SLAs
• Monitor the health, performance, capacity and availability of SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams and other Microsoft 365 services
• Perform basic analysis and troubleshooting for Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate solutions
• Ensure operational processes, procedures and technical documentation are properly maintained and updated
• Develop training materials and user guidance for SharePoint and Microsoft Teams communities based on project and business requirements
• Participate in the planning and execution of technical tasks according to business requirements and project objectives
• Apply Microsoft SharePoint and Power Platform best practices across on-premises and public cloud environments
• Collaborate with relevant technical and business stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure smooth service delivery
• Identify opportunities to improve the reliability, usability and efficiency of Microsoft 365 collaboration solutions
