Michael Page seeks an IT Consultant specialized in SharePoint Online and collaboration tools in Malaysia. You will administer SharePoint Online environments and lead migrations, with responsibilities spanning governance, security, and user adoption.

• Respond to incidents per SLA and contribute to continuous improvement.

Job Description

• Serve as a subject matter expert for SharePoint Online.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including user guides, training materials, system configurations, and relevant operational processes and procedures.
• Plan and execute data migration activities, including data mapping, extraction, transformation, and ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
• Implement and maintain security measures, including user authentication, access controls, and data protection.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their business needs and provide tailored solutions, maintaining a customer-focused approach in all areas.
• Ensure relevant operational processes and procedures are documented and maintained for the technologies.
• Develop, update training materials and user guides, and conduct training sessions for users.

• Deliver Incident and Problem analysis and resolution in accordance with set Service Level Agreements (SLA).
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the technology area.

The Successful Applicant

A successful IT Consultant - SharePoint Online, Teams and Collaboration Tools should have:

• Administer and support SharePoint Online environments, ensuring platform stability, security, and optimal user experience.
• Lead and execute SharePoint and file migration projects, including planning, implementation, and post-migration support.
• Hands-on experience with ShareGate for content migration, tenant-to-tenant migrations, and migration reporting.
• Manage and support Microsoft Teams, including configuration, governance, troubleshooting, and user administration.
• Drive user adoption through training, knowledge sharing, and change management initiatives.
• Provide technical troubleshooting and incident resolution, ensuring timely and effective issue management.
• Engage with stakeholders to gather business requirements, provide recommendations, and deliver tailored solutions.
• Demonstrate understanding of Microsoft 365 governance, compliance, and best practices.
• Knowledge of data retention policies, information protection, and data sensitivity classifications is an advantage but not mandatory.
