Job summary

E-Outsource Asia in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer to lead configuration, development, and ongoing support of a ServiceNow implementation for enterprise clients.

The role requires 7+ years in ServiceNow development, deep knowledge of platform modules, scripting, and APIs, plus strong communication. You will mentor junior developers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality portal solutions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience with ServiceNow Application Development.
• Experience configuring core ServiceNow modules in an enterprise environment.
• In-depth knowledge of implementing ServiceNow Architecture.
• In-depth knowledge of Scoped Applications Development in ServiceNow.
• In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow Scripting.
• In-depth knowledge of the ServiceNow platform, including Service Portal and ServiceNow APIs.
• ServiceNow Certified Implementer is a must have.
• Experience with Web Services Integration (SOAP, REST, and JSON).
• Experience in System/Process Automation (Orchestration).
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve technical issues.
• Experience working in challenging and ambiguous environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as key technical resource for configuring, developing, supporting, and maintaining ServiceNow.
• Provide advanced ServiceNow support by troubleshooting issues and performing root cause analysis.
• Analyze business requirements and translate into technical requirements.
• Develop workflows, modules, and catalog requests in ServiceNow.
• Deliver ServiceNow-based solutions for clients.
• Develop under Scoped Applications using ServiceNow Studio.
• Design and implement Workflows to drive approvals and lifecycle.
• Create custom business rules, scripts, UI policies, and ACLs.
• Mentor colleagues and take on leadership responsibilities.
• Integrate data/functions from ServiceNow modules into portals (incidents, knowledge, catalog).
• Collaborate with admins, developers, and analysts to deliver portal solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers.

• Serve as the key technical resource contributing the configuration, development, support, and maintenance of the ServiceNow implementation.
• Provide advanced support for ServiceNow by troubleshooting a variety of difficult software problems, implementing bug fixes, and performing root cause analysis.
• Analyze business requirements and develop technical requirements.
• Develop and design and applications modules workflows and catalog requests.
• Develop and deliver ServiceNow-based solutions for clients.
• Develop under Scoped Applications working with ServiceNow Studio.
• Develop Workflow / Flow Design where required to drive Approvals and Process Lifecycle.
• Write/create custom business rules, client scripts, script includes, UI policies, ACL’s, UI scripts.
• Begin to mentor colleagues and take on more leadership responsibility.
• Integrating data and functionality from ServiceNow modules into the portal, such as incident management, knowledge base, and service catalog.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including ServiceNow administrators, developers, and business analysts, to deliver high-quality portal solutions.
• Providing technical guidance and support to junior developers and other team members.

Profile

• 7+ years of experience with ServiceNow Application Development (preferred)
• Experience configuring core ServiceNow modules in an enterprise environment.
• Possess an in-depth knowledge of implementing ServiceNow Architecture
• Possess an in-depth knowledge of Scoped Applications Development in ServiceNow
• Possess an in-depth knowledge of ServiceNow Scripting
