Job summary

Maybank is seeking a highly experienced ServiceNow lead developer in Kuala Lumpur to design, implement, and optimize enterprise ServiceNow solutions. You will own module development, workflows, and CMDB design while coordinating integrations with monitoring and business systems.

The role requires deep ITSM/ITOM/ITAM expertise, strong scripting skills, and a track record of delivering scalable, automated processes across large environments. A senior, cross-functional collaborator is essential.

Builds, configures, and customizes ServiceNow applications, workflows, and automation. Delivers solutions for ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, and CMDB for the benefit of internal IT and business users. Supports the business by improving efficiency, reducing manual processes, and enabling effective service delivery.

EXPERIENCE

Expert level; may act as lead developer or transition into architect role; extensive experience in large-scale ServiceNow transformations and enterprise implementations.

Senior developer; strong expertise in multi-module development, scripting, workflow automation, CMDB, dashboards, and integrations. Can independently lead module builds and enhancements.

CERTIFICATIONS/REGULATORY CERTIFICATIONS

JOB SPECIFIC SKILLS & COMPETENCIES REQUIRED

• 6-10+ years of hands‑on experience leading ServiceNow development initiatives.


• Deep expertise in ITSM, ITOM, and ITAM modules, including Incident, Change, Problem, Request, Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, SAM, and HAM.


• Workflow & Automation Design: Ability to design and implement automated processes using Flow Designer, Orchestration, business rules, and scheduled jobs.


• CMDB Design & Management: Skills in creating and maintaining CMDB tables, CI relationships, and data normalization to support ITSM, ITOM, and ITAM modules.


• Integration Development: Experience integrating ServiceNow with external systems and monitoring tools via REST/SOAP APIs, MID Servers, and web services.


• Reporting & Dashboard Creation: Ability to build Performance Analytics dashboards, KPIs, and reports using ServiceNow reporting tools and Scripting for advanced analytics.


• Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution: Analytical skills to diagnose and resolve platform or module issues efficiently.


• Platform Best Practices & Governance: Knowledge of ServiceNow development standards, governance policies, and upgrade considerations.


• Collaboration & Communication: Ability to work effectively with architects, admins, operations teams, and business stakeholders.


• Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Capability to document workflows, scripts, integrations, and configurations for maintainability and BAU support.

Programming Languages / Skills Mapped to Modules:

ServiceNow CSA /CSD/CIS /CTA certifications aremandatory but would be advantageous to have more
