Job summary

Strong-Lift Engineering is seeking a maintenance technician to service and repair heavy industrial machinery in our Ipoh, Malaysia facility. You will perform routine maintenance, diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, and ensure optimal machine performance while minimizing downtime.

You will interpret manuals, blueprints, and schematics, maintain a clean, safe workspace, and document activities in the maintenance log.

Qualifications

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy industrial machinery and equipment according to established procedures.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using appropriate tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Conduct preventive maintenance checks and services to ensure optimal machinery performance and minimize downtime.
• Interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics to accurately perform repairs and installations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.
• Document all maintenance and repair activities, including parts used and time spent, in the company's maintenance log.
• Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
• Identify and report any potential hazards or safety concerns to supervisors immediately.
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery as required.
• Participate in training sessions to stay updated on new technologies and maintenance techniques.
