Tyson Foods is seeking a technically inclined entry-level Maintenance Technician in Subang Jaya, Malaysia. The role focuses on routine inspections, lubrication, and assisting with repairs to keep production equipment running smoothly.
Successful candidates will have relevant certificates or diplomas, basic tools proficiency, and a willingness to learn. Shift flexibility and teamwork are important for this hands-on position.
SKM Level 3, Diploma, Professional Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Basic knowledge of mechanical maintenance and manufacturing equipment.
Basic electrical knowledge will be an added advantage.
Able to use basic hand tools and power tools.
Good teamwork and communication skills.
Willing to learn and develop technical skills.
Basic computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office and SAP.
Willing to work on shifts and flexible working hours when required.
Perform routine inspections, cleaning, and lubrication of production equipment.
Assist with mechanical repairs and replacement of machine parts.
Inspect equipment for abnormal noise, vibration, leakage, damage, or other issues.
Assist senior technicians with maintenance and troubleshooting activities.
Perform basic electrical checks when required.
Follow maintenance procedures, work instructions, and safety requirements.
Record maintenance activities and report equipment issues to the relevant team.
Work closely with the maintenance team to ensure production equipment operates smoothly and efficiently.
