Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing team. The role requires hands-on experience maintaining mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems, reading technical manuals, and troubleshooting issues to minimize downtime.

You will collaborate with production colleagues, maintain records, and ensure safety standards while supporting flexible hours as needed and basic computer record-keeping.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Equipment Maintenance Technician or similar role.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
• Good communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
• Basic computer skills for record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues on production machinery.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.
• Collaborate with production teams to schedule maintenance activities and minimize disruption.
• Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to all safety regulations and procedures.
• Operate and maintain various hand and power tools.
