Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform routine inspections, cleaning, and lubrication of production equipment. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply and basic knowledge of mechanical maintenance and manufacturing equipment is valued; electrical knowledge is a plus.

You will work with hand and power tools and collaborate closely with the maintenance team to keep machinery running smoothly.

Qualifications

• SKM Level 3, Diploma, Professional Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical maintenance and manufacturing equipment.
• Basic electrical knowledge will be an added advantage.
• Able to use basic hand tools and power tools.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Willing to learn and develop technical skills.
• Basic computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office and SAP.
• Willing to work on shifts and flexible working hours when required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, cleaning, and lubrication of production equipment.
• Assist with mechanical repairs and replacement of machine parts.
• Inspect equipment for abnormal noise, vibration, leakage, damage, or other issues.
• Assist senior technicians with maintenance and troubleshooting activities.
• Perform basic electrical checks when required.
• Follow maintenance procedures, work instructions, and safety requirements.
• Record maintenance activities and report equipment issues to the relevant team.
• Work closely with the maintenance team to ensure production equipment operates smoothly and efficiently.
