Job summary

749338-K is seeking a dedicated Service Engineer/Technician to join our Kajang, Selangor team for a full-time site-based role. You will provide technical support, maintenance, and repair services to keep mechanical systems operating at peak performance while serving as the bridge between customers and our engineering team.

The ideal candidate has a diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering and proven field-service experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial equipment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field.
• Proven experience as a Service Engineer, Technician, or similar maintenance role.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial equipment.
• Willingness to travel to client sites and valid driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair mechanical equipment and systems at client sites.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to minimise equipment downtime.
• Diagnose technical faults and troubleshoot mechanical issues using appropriate diagnostic tools.
• Carry out repairs and replacements of faulty components with precision and safety.
• Document all service activities, maintenance performed, and parts replaced in detailed reports.
• Respond promptly to service calls and emergency breakdowns to restore equipment functionality.
• Provide technical support and guidance to clients on equipment operation and maintenance.
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to identify recurring issues and implement lasting solutions.
• Maintain accurate inventory of spare parts and tools required for service delivery.
