Job summary

Daikin Malaysia Sales & Service Sdn Bhd in Petaling Jaya is seeking engineering interns to support the preparation and analysis of customer performance reports, assist in upselling proposals based on cloud system data, and support testing and commissioning for solution-based customers.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, E&E, or Chemical Engineering with CGPA 3.0+, strong analytical and communication skills, MS Office proficiency, and willingness to work at customer sites.

Qualifications

• Assist in preparing upselling proposals based on cloud system operational data and performance insights.
• Support site operations, including testing and commissioning for solution business customers.
• Assist in conducting research on energy optimization, system tuning, and process improvement initiatives.
• Perform other engineering-related tasks and projects as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering (E&E), Chemical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum CGPA of 3.00 or equivalent.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Analytical thinking, with good report writing and presentation skills.
• Willing to work at customer sites and support testing & commissioning.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Availability for a minimum internship duration of 4 to 6 months is preferred.
