Job summary

A renewable energy company based in Johor Bahru is seeking an active student for an internship role. The candidate will support Customer and Field Service Engineers in monitoring solar PV system performance and preparing reports. Required qualifications include a Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering and good communication skills. This role offers hands-on experience in solar energy operations and requires the ability to travel to various sites.

Qualifications

• Must be a valid and active student in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
• Capable of working in various locations and handling pressure.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze daily PV system performance.
• Support in preparing monthly performance reports.
• Identify and report any faults in solar PV systems.
• Assist in performance analysis of PV systems.
• Help with documentation and updates for Operations & Maintenance Team.

Skills

• To support Customer Service Engineer on monitoring and analyzing daily PV system performance through different remote monitoring platform.
• To support Customer Service Engineer on monthly performance report preparation and validation of data.
• To perform daily monitoring and identifying any solar PV system’s fault.
• To support Field Service Engineer on preparing detail analysis of PV system performance.
• To support Operations & Maintenance Team and Sales Team on documentations, internal system update and any ad hoc task.

Requirements

• A valid and active student undergoing Bachelor Degree or Diploma of Electrical Engineering or equivalent Science background (preferable Electrical Engineering or Renewable Energy related).
• Eager to learn and work in the field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Possess own transport
• Able to travel and work at various sites on daily basis.
• Able to work under pressure
