Job summary

ENE Petro Services Sdn Bhd seeks a Field Service Engineer to install, upgrade, and maintain equipment on client sites across the region, following manufacturer specs and strict safety protocols. You will diagnose mechanical, electrical, or electronic issues both remotely and on-site, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure equipment operates to specifications while keeping detailed service logs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation Engineering, or related field.
• 2-3 years of experience as a Service Engineer, Field Service Technician, or similar role.
• Strong understanding of fire and gas systems and industrial safety regulations.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites regionally and work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Field Support & Maintenance: Execute on-site equipment installations, upgrades, routine inspections, and preventive maintenance per manufacturer specs and safety protocols at client sites.
• Troubleshooting & Diagnostics: Diagnose mechanical, electrical, or electronic issues remotely or on-site, escalating complex challenges when necessary.
• Testing & Quality Assurance: Test equipment performance post-repair or installation to ensure safety and operation standards.
• Client Communication & Training: Explain technical concepts clearly to clients and provide training on equipment operation and basic maintenance.
• Documentation & Team Collaboration: Maintain service reports, repair logs, and maintenance records while coordinating with sales, engineering, and product development teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: 2-3 years of experience as a Service Engineer, Field Service Technician, or similar technical support role.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of fire and gas systems, firefighting system, and industrial safety regulations.
• Soft Skills: Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving abilities, strong interpersonal skills, and a customer-oriented mindset.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work independently or in a team, travel to customer sites across the region, and work flexible hours
