Hisakaworks SEA Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a hands-on Service Engineer to support operations in Johor. You will perform heat exchanger servicing at the Johor service centre and at customer sites, build strong customer relationships, and provide technical input to service and sales teams.

We are looking for a hands-on, customer-focused Service Engineer to support our operations in Johor. The role involves carrying out heat exchanger servicing at our Johor service centre and customer sites, building strong customer relationships, and supporting the service and sales teams through customer follow-ups and technical input.

Key responsibilities

Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repair of plate heat exchangers at our Johor service centre and customer sites.

Troubleshoot mechanical issues and recommend suitable service solutions.

Coordinate service activities with customers and the sales and service teams at headquarters.

Build positive customer relationships through reliable service, clear communication, and timely follow-up.

Take ownership of assigned work and deliver on agreed schedules and commitments.

Support sales activities by following up with customers, providing technical information, and sharing potential service opportunities with the sales team.

Assist with customer enquiries and service recommendations and provide technical input for quotations where required.

Prepare clear and accurate service reports, including findings and recommendations.

Follow company procedures, customer requirements, and safety standards.

Maintain good housekeeping and 5S practices at the Johor service centre and customer sites.

Requirements

Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

3–5 years of experience in heat exchanger servicing or a related industrial maintenance role.

Good mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

Familiarity with plate heat exchangers and industrial maintenance processes.

Customer-focused, dependable, and committed to completing assigned work and following through on agreed actions.

Good communication skills for customer interaction, follow-ups, and service reporting.

Able to support sales activities through customer follow-ups, technical coordination, and identifying service needs.

Willingness to travel for service assignments and respond to emergency requests.

Able to work effectively as part of a team and willing to take on new challenges.

Able to work independently and coordinate effectively with the wider team.
