Job summary

CPI Food Concept Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a customer-focused team member to greet guests, take and present orders, and assist with payments. The role requires Mandarin communication, flexibility with shifts, and a collaborative attitude to maintain high service levels.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers while offering attentive service and taking, assembling and presenting food orders.
• Request and receive payment, operate the cash register and handle transactions.
• Clean according to sanitary standards including sweeping, mopping, and cleaning service areas.
• Maintain cleanliness of customer service area and restrooms; manage trash disposal.
• Check equipment and report issues to maintenance; assist in any area to ensure timely food delivery.
• Move completed orders from kitchen to customer tables promptly.
• Understand menu and promotions; follow policies and procedures for restaurant operations.
• Attend to customer needs and requests; take reservations and seat customers as assigned.

Job description

Greeting customers while offering super customer service attention, taking, assembling and presenting food orders, requesting and receiving payment, operating the cash register.

Cleaning in accordance to restaurant’s sanitary standards including but not limited to sweeping and mopping floors, tables, counters, and service equipment.

Cleaning the customer service area, removing trash, and checking the restrooms.

Checking equipment to ensure that it is in proper working order, letting the maintenance team know if there might be a problem.

Backing up other crew members in their jobs, assist in any area to ensure that the food is being prepared, packaged and delivered to customer in a timely manner.

Ensure the timely movement of completed food orders from kitchen to customer table.

Understand on the menu and promotions.

Follow company’s policies and procedures for restaurant operations internally and externally.

Attending to customers needs and request.

Taking reservations and assigning seating arrangements

Ensure customer wellbeing and dining experience is take care of at all times

Perform other related duties as required or as assigned.
