Job summary

MNC Manufacturing Based Company in Johor Bahru, Malaysia is seeking candidates for a wastewater management role to operate a WWTP and maintain compliance with environmental standards.

You will monitor scrubber systems and other utilities, perform data logging and performance checks, and lead on-site teams while ensuring strict safety practices and regulatory adherence. Laboratory testing and R&D related to wastewater treatment are also involved.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Engineering.
• Minimum 4 years in manufacturing industries.
• Preferably holding CePIETSO (BP)/CePIETSO (PCP) and CePSWaM certificates.

Responsibilities

• Manage and operate wastewater treatment plants (WWTP), ensuring compliance with environmental standards.
• Monitor and maintain equipment used in wastewater treatment, including scrubbers and other utilities.
• Perform technical duties such as data recording, performance monitoring, and ensuring operational efficiency.
• Lead teams in operations and ensure adherence to safety and environmental regulations.
• Conduct laboratory testing and participate in research and development related to wastewater treatment.
