Job summary

Eastfound Malaysia Sdn Bhd in Pekan Nanas, Johor, is seeking a Wastewater Water Treatment Technician/Laboratory Technician to perform chemical analysis of bath solutions and to operate the industrial WWTP, ensuring product quality and strict environmental compliance.

The role requires a Diploma or higher in Chemistry or related field, with at least 3 years in an industrial lab and experience with wastewater treatment. 6 days per week and rotating Day/Night shifts requested.

Qualifications

Education: Diploma or above in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.
Certification: Holder or Candidate of IETS Certification issued by DOE, or be in finalization of the practical project/report phase.
Experience: minimum 3 years in an industrial laboratory with hands-on WWTP operation and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

Bath solution analysis: test indicators, concentration and impurities; guide dosing and bath maintenance.
Wastewater treatment & compliance: operate and monitor WWTP; test water quality and adjust processes to meet DOE standards.
Lab management: prepare reagents, calibrate instruments, manage lab consumables.
Process improvement & safety: update SOPs and identify risks in chemical usage and wastewater handling.
