Job summary

Koon Seng Sdn Bhd in Southern Malaysia is seeking a WWTP Operator to manage and operate the wastewater treatment plant, ensuring smooth daily operations and compliance with DOE standards.

Responsibilities include monitoring discharge water, liaising with DOE for licensing, preparing monthly performance and maintenance reports, conducting inspections, and training plant staff to maintain safe, efficient processes.

Qualifications

• Experience in wastewater treatment plant operations or manufacturing environment.
• Strong written and spoken English and Bahasa Melayu.
• Fresh graduates encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• To manage and operate wastewater treatment plant.
• To monitor final discharge water meet DOE standard requirements.
• To liaise with DOE for licensing and compliance issues.
• Record findings for reference and reporting purposes.
• Prepare monthly performance monitoring reports as DOE required.
• Conduct inspections for all WWTP and equipment.
• Prepare maintenance reports and ensure equipment is in good order.
• Perform purchase orders for daily chemical consumption.
• Maintain stock records of chemicals and other materials.
• Provide training to WWTP operators.
• Any other duties assigned by superior.
