Job summary

Katrin BJ Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee all facets of warehouse operations at our Subang Jaya facility, including inventory control, staff supervision, and safety compliance. Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of warehouse management or supervisory experience in manufacturing, transport or logistics environments.
• Proven track record of successfully managing warehouse teams and achieving operational targets.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• In-depth understanding of health, safety and environmental (HSE) compliance requirements.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing and despatch of goods
• Manage and supervise warehouse staff, providing training, performance management and development opportunities
• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock audits to ensure inventory accuracy and minimise discrepancies
• Implement and maintain warehouse safety procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety regulations
• Optimise warehouse layout and storage systems to maximise space utilisation and operational efficiency
• Monitor and control warehouse costs, including labour, equipment maintenance and utilities
• Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures and quality standards across all warehouse operations
• Liaise with logistics, transport and manufacturing teams to coordinate seamless operations
• Identify process improvements and implement solutions to enhance productivity and reduce operational costs
• Prepare and present regular reports on warehouse performance metrics and KPIs to senior management
• Manage warehouse equipment maintenance and recommend upgrades or replacements as needed
