Job summary
Talentasia Consultancy is seeking an experienced IT professional to provide on-site and remote support for VoIP systems and networking in Malaysia. The role requires strong troubleshooting skills and a formal qualification in CS/IT/Networking.
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience with SIP, IP PBX, Asterisk/FreePBX, and experience with Windows Server and Linux environments. Willingness to travel locally is essential.
Qualifications
- Diploma/degree in CS/IT/Networking or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in VoIP, IP Telephony, or IT Support.
- Knowledge of SIP, IP PBX, Asterisk, FreePBX, networking (TCP/IP, VLAN, VPN), and routing concepts.
- Experience with Windows Server and Linux environments is an advantage.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills and customer service mindset.
- Possess own transport and willing to travel for on-site support when required.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for VoIP systems, IP PBX, SIP Trunking, and networking issues.
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot VoIP solutions.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Monitor system performance and ensure maximum uptime.
- Perform system upgrades, patches, backups, and preventive maintenance.
- Work closely with customers and internal teams to resolve technical issues.
- Prepare technical documentation and service reports.
- Provide on-site and remote support when required.
