Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a seasoned Operational Excellence & Manpower Planning professional to strategize daily manpower schedules, assign new leads to inspectors, and optimize capacity across channels, aiming for efficient coverage and timely turnovers.

You will oversee website lead conversion, negotiate post-inspection deals, coordinate with BST, ensure weekly TCA reports, and provide rapid car value estimations to boost conversion, with a track record of leading large teams in retail

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in automotive procurement, sales management, or branch operations.
• Proven track record of managing large teams of inspectors or frontline staff in a high-pressure environment.
• Exceptional negotiation and persuasion skills with a focus on closing high-value retail deals.
• Strong ability to track operational metrics, manage scheduling spreadsheets, and produce weekly performance reports.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to manage internal stakeholders (BST, TCA, B2C) and external customers.
• Willingness to work 6 days a week (including weekends) in a retail/branch-based setting.

Responsibilities

• Workforce Scheduling: Strategize and manage daily manpower schedules for inspectors across all channels to ensure 100% operational coverage.
• Lead Management: Assign new leads to inspectors and monitor progress to meet TAT and SLA.
• Capacity Optimization: Review capacity for low/high-volume retail periods to optimize completion times.
• Website Lead Conversion: Oversee website funnel, educate customers on inspection process and flow.
• Deal Negotiation: Own post-inspection negotiation to secure vehicle purchases and meet procurement targets.
• Proactive Follow-ups: Lead daily follow-ups with pending customers to drive deal confirmation or bidding participation.
• Bidding Management: Manage post-bid communication, confirm results and facilitate offer acceptance or rejection.
• Cross-functional Coordination: Liaise with BST to secure appointment slots for successful deals and smooth ownership transfer.
• Reporting & Quality Assurance: Manage weekly TCA reports and ensure data accuracy of inspection reports.
• Valuation Support: Provide rapid car value estimations to speed customer decisions.
