Job summary

HSBC Holdings plc in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an Assistant Manager for Transaction Services. You will manage daily Collateral Management operations, ensure security documentation accuracy, and oversee processing with strict adherence to SLAs.

The role requires experience in credit and lending operations within a CIB setting. You will supervise a team, perform system maintenance, and drive process improvements while maintaining strong controls and risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any field.
• Minimum 5–7 years’ relevant experience in banking operations or lending operations.
• Strong knowledge of credit and lending operations in a CIB environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Collateral Management Unit ensuring accuracy and SLA adherence.
• Review and maintain records for Security Validation and Security Servicing.
• Ensure all collateral documentation is complete and correctly recorded before processing.
• Allocate and track team tasks, escalate delays and operational risks promptly.
• Perform system maintenance and approvals per procedures and delegated authorities.
• Conduct quality checks and provide oversight of team processing.
• Support colleagues during high volumes or incidents and in business continuity.
