Job summary

Businesslist is seeking a Total Rewards leader in Malaysia to drive compensation, benefits, and payroll governance. You will oversee annual salary reviews, reward budgeting, and analytics to inform senior management decisions, while managing vendor relationships for benefits programs and ensuring payroll accuracy.

The role offers a hybrid working arrangement with exposure to a multinational context, shaping rewards strategy and employee value proposition for stakeholders across the organization.

Qualifications

• Experience in Total Rewards, Compensation & Benefits, or Rewards Management.
• Strong knowledge of compensation, benefits, and payroll governance.
• Experience reviewing and approving payroll, with focus on accuracy and compliance.
• Background within an MNC environment; Financial Services, Banking, or Insurance experience is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.
• Able to balance strategic initiatives with operational oversight.

Responsibilities

• Lead compensation, benefits, and Total Rewards initiatives.
• Drive annual salary reviews, increment exercises, and reward budgeting.
• Provide rewards analytics and insights to support business decisions.
• Manage benefits programmes, including medical and insurance vendors.
• Review and approve payroll outputs to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Support and guide payroll team members while overseeing payroll governance.
• Participate in payroll vendor management and improvement initiatives.
• Enhance reward policies, processes, and employee value proposition.
