Job summary

Carsem is seeking an accomplished Senior Operations Leader to drive test operations strategy in a high-volume semiconductor backend environment. You will lead multiple teams, transform test processes with Lean Six Sigma and Agile approaches, and partner with cross-functional stakeholders to achieve ambitious performance targets.

You will shape budgets, resource plans, and KPI-driven improvements while mentoring managers and building strong succession pipelines in a dynamic manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electronics, electrical, mechatronics, operations management, general engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years in semiconductor backend (OSAT or IDM) with progressive engineering and operations management experience including team leadership.
• At least 5 years in a leadership role managing test operations.
• Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Proven ramp-up and capacity management experience.
• Experience leading large-scale test engineering and operation transformations.
• Advanced knowledge of process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Agile) with certification preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and BI tools.
• Proven ability to manage complex budgets and allocate resources across departments.
• Excellent leadership and team development skills, including managing managers and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Operations Leadership: Develop and execute comprehensive test operational strategies aligned with business objectives, driving organization-wide performance improvements.
• Team Management and Development: Lead, mentor, and develop multiple operations teams for high performance and succession planning.
• Test Process Transformation: Design and implement large-scale process improvements using Lean Six Sigma, Agile, and digital transformation.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with HODs, Managers and external stakeholders to align on initiatives with strategic goals.
• Performance Test Analytics and KPI Management: Establish measurement systems, analyze data, and drive data-driven decisions.
• Budget and Resource Management: Deliver test revenue targets, oversee budgets, optimize resources, and ensure cost-effective delivery.
• Risk Management and Compliance: Identify risks, build mitigation plans, ensure regulatory and policy compliance.
• Technology and Systems Integration: Lead technology implementations and system optimizations to enhance ops.
• Change Management: Manage organizational change, stakeholder expectations, and smooth transitions during transformations.
• Strategic Project Portfolio Management: Oversee multiple high-impact projects, ensuring on-time delivery and budget adherence.
