Job summary

Lam Research Malaysia seeks an experienced Test Manager to lead a multi-product, on-site team within the Manufacturing Engineering group in Kulim. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering and more than 10 years of experience in the following areas.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for teaching, investigating and influencing team members and stakeholders up to and including internal and external executives.
• Knowledge in semiconductor capital equipment. PCBA and component lifecycle management: Specification, manufacture, assembly, test/inspection and sustaining.
• Experience in test engineering and development environment with in-depth knowledge of C#, Python or other scripting languages.
• Working knowledge of Statistical analysis, DOE, GR&R (MSA), 5-Why, 6S/7W, t/F tests, box plot and 8D.
• Working knowledge of electrical and mfg standards (Semi S2, OSHA, ISO 9000/14000, RoHS, UL, IEEE, MIL, IPC 610/620)
• Working knowledge in developing and maintaining Test Fixturing.
• Deep knowledge and experience in new product transfer methodologies and program.

Responsibilities

• Lead governance and reporting processes for manufacturing testing.
• Implement standard processes, methodologies and tools for test engineering.
• Ensure team follows testing standards, guidelines and testing methodology as defined in the test strategy.
• Perform management activities - resource management, monitoring, risk control, and quality management.
• Manage all testing effort and deliverables, ensuring testing is on time and within budget.
• Lead test planning, scope definitions and risk-based testing.
• Drive continuous improvement programs for safety, ergonomics and assembly methods, reducing cycle time.
• Provide sustaining excellence strategy in Wafer Fabrication Equipment through lean manufacturing.
