Job summary
Flex is seeking a Test Engineering Manager / Assistant Manager in Prai, Penang, to lead the testing strategy for high-technology electronics. You will guide the test engineering team, optimize test procedures, and coordinate cross-functional collaboration to ensure high-quality product releases.
The role requires a Bachelor's degree with about 8 years in test engineering, plus experience with test automation and ATE development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 8 years in Test Engineering including functional, burn-in, and automated testing.
- Familiarity with hardware/software test development and test automation.
Responsibilities
- Direct and coordinate testing activities for electronic products and software.
- Define test conditions, sequences, and phases for tests.
- Coordinate calibration of instruments and data recording systems.
- Advise on test strategy improvements and risk management.
- Develop or use software/hardware tools to perform tests.
- Train staff on test hardware/software and problem-solving techniques.
- Monitor testing progress and ensure completion on time and within budget.
