Job summary
Flex in Prai, Penang is seeking a Test Engineering Manager / Assistant Manager to lead electronic test activities, equipment development, and software testing.
The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s in a related field and 8+ years in test engineering, with experience in burn-in, automation, API development, and ATE.
You will coordinate testing across projects, mentor technicians, and drive improvements in test processes, with medical/dental benefits and a performance bonus.
Qualifications
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of experience and training.
- 8+ years of experience in Test Engineering, including functional testing, burn-in testing, and automated testing in high-technology electronics industry or related industry.
Responsibilities
- Directs and coordinates electronic engineering and/or testing activities, including design of testing equipment and software testing.
- Defines test conditions, sequences and phases of test operations.
- Resolves testing problems with engineering/technical personnel and interprets data/reports.
- Evaluates test data and prepares technical reports for engineering and management.
- Trains floor staff on test hardware and software and problem-solving techniques.
- Manages testing risk and coordinates actions across projects.
