Job summary

Flex is seeking a Staff Test Engineer in Prai, Penang to support our product teams. You will implement and maintain cost-effective testing and troubleshooting methods for systems, software, and equipment, directing engineering personnel in test design and calibration activities.

You will analyze test data, develop test models, and contribute to test software using Python, LabVIEW, and Perl. The role includes training floor staff and coordinating corrective actions for yield improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 6 years of working experience in Test Engineering.
• Experience with software and hardware test environments.

Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates testing and test control apparatus development or software testing.
• Calibrates instruments and equipment required to test and record data.
• Analyze test data and prepare technical reports for engineering teams.
• Develop or modify test programs using languages like Python, LabVIEW, and Perl.
• Train technicians on test hardware and software and solve testing problems.
