Job summary

Flex is seeking a Staff Test Engineer to support production testing and equipment verification in Prai, Penang. The role involves directing engineering activities, calibrating test instruments, and diagnosing test data to improve product quality.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience and training.
• Minimum 6 years of working experience in Test Engineering field is required.

Responsibilities

• Directs and/or coordinates testing and test control apparatus and equipment or software and systems testing.
• Coordinates development, procurement, installation and calibration of test instruments and control devices.
• Interprets test data and prepares technical reports for engineering and management teams.
• Develops or uses software/hardware to conduct tests on electronic products and systems.
• Trains floor staff on test hardware/software and problem solving techniques.
• Resolves test yield problems by root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
