Job summary

Flex is seeking a Senior Test Engineer to join the Senai, Johor team, focusing on ICT/FCT, PCB test and hardware/software integration. You will lead testing programs, analyze data, and drive continuous improvement across test functions.

The role requires hands-on development of test models and collaboration with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate has 4+ years in high- tech electronics test, strong ICT/PCBA troubleshooting skills, and experience with test automation and NPI.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 4 years in high-tech electronics test.
Strong knowledge of PCB testing, ICT, and ICT/FCT tooling.
Experience in test automation and data analysis.
Demonstrates expert knowledge of the function and Flex business context.
Project management (Test): NPI, tester development (ICT, FCT and others).

Responsibilities

Directs/testing personnel in fabrication and design of testing equipment and software.
Oversees instrument calibration and data recording for test activities.
Resolves testing problems with cross-functional teams and analyzes data.
Develops or uses software/hardware for tests on electronic products.
Trains technicians on test hardware/software and problem solving.
Maintains test documentation and supports ESS/functional tests as needed.
Coordinates third-party development of test applications and fixtures.
