Job summary

SiTime Corp. is seeking a Sr. Test Development Engineer to develop hardware and software for precision timing devices.

You will define ATE test hardware/software, support product launches into high-volume production, and collaborate with Design, Manufacturing, and Quality teams. The role involves board-level hardware design, algorithm development, and validation on standard ATE platforms, with emphasis on continuous improvement and DFT collaboration.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• At least four years of related work experience.
• Background in ATE development for mixed-signal ICs and hands-on experience with ATE platforms (Teradyne ETS-364, ETS-88, or UltraFLEX is a plus).
• Knowledge of analog electronics and board-level troubleshooting.
• Experience in statistical analysis of test data.
• Hands-on experience with electronics lab instrumentation; metrology systems for timing parameters preferred.
• Excellent programming skills with C++.

Responsibilities

• Define the ATE test flow and test plan for new products.
• Engage with design team on Design for Test features.
• Develop, validate, and release production test software for standard mixed-signal ATE platforms.
• Provide inputs for test hardware development from block diagram to verification.
• Support NPI activities by developing test methodologies and qualification plans.
• Participate in test program debugging, optimization, and correlation.
• Improve test coverage, time efficiency, and manufacturability for high-volume production.
• Lead release-to-production activities.
