Job summary

SiTime Corp. is seeking a Principal Test Development Engineer in Malaysia to lead development of test solutions for precision timing devices. You will shape ATE test hardware and software, define test flows, and support product launches into high-volume production.

The role requires eight+ years in ATE development, strong C++ skills, and experience with mixed-signal IC testing on Teradyne platforms. Collaboration across design, manufacturing, and quality teams is essential for successful test

Qualifications

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• At least eight years of related work experience as an individual contributor.
• Experience in ATE development for mixed-signal ICs with Teradyne platforms preferred.
• Knowledge of analog electronics and board-level debugging.
• Experience in statistical analysis of test data.
• Hands-on electronics lab instrumentation experience; metrology systems preferred.
• Excellent programming skills with C++.

Responsibilities

• Define ATE test flow and test plan for new products.
• Collaborate with design team on Design for Test features.
• Develop, validate, and release production test software for standard ATE platforms.
• Provide inputs for test hardware design from schematic through verification.
• Support NPI activities with test methodologies and qualification plans.
• Lead test program debugging, optimization, and correlation.
• Improve test coverage, test time efficiency, and manufacturability for high-volume production.
• Lead release-to-production activities and support ramp to production.
