Job summary

Infineon Technologies AG in Malacca City, Malaysia, seeks a maintenance technician to troubleshoot MECO, water jet and chemical dipping equipment and implement corrective actions to reduce downtime. You will perform scheduled preventive maintenance and keep accurate records in SAP, while supporting ongoing improvement projects to boost OEE.

• SPM pass including Maths & English.
• 3–5 years in semiconductor plating; plating industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair MECO, Water Jet & Chemical dipping equipment, identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Execute scheduled PM activities and maintain PM records (e-checklist and SAP).
• Support OEE improvements and assist with new tool installations and commissioning.

Your role

• Troubleshoot and repair MECO, Water Jet & Chemical dipping equipment issues, identify root causes and implement corrective/preventive actions to achieve equipment downtime KPI targets
• Execute scheduled Preventive Maintenance (PM) activities and ensure all PM records are accurately completed and updated (e-checklist and SAP)
• Support continuous improvement and maintenance projects aimed at improving Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE), including speed, cost and quality performance
• Assist with new tool/equipment installation and commissioning as required, including setup support and handover readiness
• Maintain full compliance with Safety, 5S & Cleanroom protocols and promote a safe and disciplined work environment

Your profile

• Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical/ Electronic/Mechatronics Engineering.
• Must passed SPM, including subject Maths & English.
• Minimum 3-5 years working experience in related Seminductor Plating process will be an added advantage.
• Experience in plating industry will be an advantage.
• Able to work 12 hours Shift (Day/Night).
