Job summary

Infineon Technologies AG in Kulim, Malaysia is seeking a Technician to perform preventive maintenance on PM equipment in a high-tech cleanroom environment. You will calibrate tools, document activities, and support safety and 5S standards.

With a Diploma and 3–4 years of hands-on experience, you will follow procedures, diagnose issues, train junior technicians, and contribute to continuous improvement within the Manufacturing and Operations team.

Qualifications

• Certificate/Diploma is a must.
• Approximately 3 to 4 years of relevant job experience.
• Extent of technical knowledge in own area.
• Understanding of equipment concepts.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine Preventive Maintenance (PM) for multiple functional area.
• Perform standard calibration on the PM equipment.
• Fill PM documentation (e-checklist, TECO) and prepare parts or consumables for PM.
• Carry out routine checks and record tool parameters.
• Perform consumable/medium changes and service parts/assemblies/swap kits.
• Diagnose and replace worn parts in PM equipment and report abnormalities.
• Ensure safety standards are maintained during duties.
• Keep facility areas free of hazards and maintain 5S/cfloat Cleanroom protocols.
• Assist and train junior PM technicians on procedures.
• Suggest procedural improvements for the team.

Your role Key responsibilities in your new role

• Perform routine Preventive Maintenance (PM) for multiple functional area.
• Perform standard calibration on the PM equipment.
• Fill up PM documentation as required (eg e-checklist, TECO) Parts or comsumbles preparation for PM.
• Carry out routine check and recording on the tool parameters.
• Perform consumble/medium change out. Perform rebuild or service of parts/assemblies/swap kits.
• Diagnose and replace worn parts in PM equipment- “Report and Escalate abnormality”.
• Ensure that safety standards are maintained in the course of performing duties.
• Ensure that the facility areas and work environment are free of hazardous objects and substances (Leakage / 5S).
• Ensure the compliance to 5S, Cleanroom & Safety Protocol Assist internal maintenance technicians when PM activities completed.
• Perform training and guidance for fresh/junior PM technician on the job procedure.
• Provide work area and procedural improvement for the team.
