Job summary

Infineon Technologies in Kulim, Kedah, Malaysia, is seeking a Technician/Snr Technician/Staff Technician to support our manufacturing and operations in a high‑tech cleanroom. You will perform preventive maintenance, calibrations, and document the work to keep equipment in peak condition.

The role requires a certificate or diploma and about 3–4 years of relevant experience, with a disciplined approach to procedures, teamwork, and clear communication.

Qualifications

• Certificate/Diploma is a must.
• Approximately 3 to 4 years of relevant job experience
• Understanding of equipment concepts.
• Strong discipline to work with procedures.
• Medium level communication skills is required to present ideas and solution.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance (PM) for multiple functional areas.
• Perform standard calibration on the PM equipment.
• Fill up PM documentation such as e-checklist and TECO.
• Parts or consumables preparation for PM; carry out routine check and record tool parameters.
• Perform consumble/medium change out and service of parts/assemblies/swap kits.
• Diagnose and replace worn parts in PM equipment; report and escalate abnormalities.
• Ensure safety standards are maintained during duties.
• Maintain 5S, Cleanroom & Safety Protocols; assist internal maintenance technicians.
• Provide training for fresh/junior PM technicians on procedures.
• Suggest area and procedural improvements for the team.

Your role

Key responsibilities in your new role

• Perform routine Preventive Maintenance (PM) for multiple functional area.
• Perform standard calibration on the PM equipment.
• Fill up PM documentation as required (eg e-checklist, TECO)
• Parts or comsumbles preparation for PM Carry out routine check and recording on the tool parameters.
• Perform consumble/medium change out. Perform rebuild or service of parts/assemblies/swap kits.
• Diagnose and replace worn parts in PM equipment- “Report and Escalate abnormality”
• Ensure that safety standards are maintained in the course of performing duties
• Ensure that the facility areas and work environment are free of hazardous objects and substances (Leakage / 5S)
• Ensure the compliance to 5S, Cleanroom & Safety Protocol Assist internal maintenance technicians when PM activities completed.
• Perform training and guidance for fresh/junior PM technician on the job procedure.
• Provide work area and procedural improvement for the team.
