Job summary

Pro Office Technology seeks a Senior Technical Executive to coordinate CCTV installation, upgrades, testing, and maintenance across the Eastern Zone. You will lead technicians, schedule field activities, and ensure safety, quality, and timely delivery of projects.

The role requires 2–3 years in technical/field operations, with strong leadership, planning, and reporting skills. Travel across sites and after-hours work may be necessary to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Electrical/Electronic Eng, Security Tech, IT or Networking.
• Certifications related to CCTV/Surveillance systems and safety.
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant field operations experience.
• Experience coordinating technical teams is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day technical and field operations across sites in the Eastern Zone.
• Plan technician assignments for Installation, Upgrade, PM, and Testing.
• Monitor site progress to meet project deadlines and SLAs.
• Prepare and submit technical and zone reports with status updates.
• Act as technical liaison with site representatives and stakeholders.
• Ensure works meet technical, quality, and safety requirements.
• Travel between sites within the Eastern Zone and be on standby when required.

Job description

The Senior Technical Executive (Eastern Zone) is responsible for coordinating and overseeing day-to-day technical and field operations for CCTV installation, upgrade, testing & commissioning, corrective maintenance and preventive maintenance activities within the assigned zone.

The role involves coordinating technicians and site activities, monitoring work progress and SLA compliance, preparing technical reports, liaising with TNB site representatives, and ensuring all works are carried out in accordance with technical, quality and safety requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Technical Operations

• Coordinate day-to-day technical and field operations across all assigned sites within the Eastern Zone.
• Coordinate technicians and Team Leaders for Installation & Upgrade, Preventive Maintenance, and Testing & Commissioning activities.
• Monitor site activities to ensure works are completed according to project requirements and schedules.

Site Coordination & Scheduling

• Plan and coordinate site works, technician assignments and maintenance activities.
• Ensure efficient allocation of manpower, tools, equipment and technical resources.
• Coordinate with relevant teams to resolve site-related technical issues.

Technical Monitoring

• Monitor CCTV installation, upgrade, testing & commissioning, corrective maintenance and preventive maintenance works.
• Ensure technical works are carried out according to approved specifications, procedures and project requirements.
• Identify technical issues and coordinate corrective actions with the relevant technical teams.

Reporting

• Prepare and submit periodic technical and zone reports, including work progress, PM / CM completion, incidents, defects and site status.
• Maintain accurate records of technical activities and work completion.

Performance & SLA Monitoring

• Monitor zone-level work progress, KPIs and SLA compliance.
• Highlight delays, technical issues and operational challenges to the Project Director / Project Manager and PMO.
• Act as a technical point of contact for TNB site representatives within the Eastern Zone.
• Coordinate site requirements, work schedules and technical matters with relevant stakeholders.

Quality & Safety Oversight

• Ensure all works comply with technical specifications, quality standards and HSE requirements.
• Ensure technicians follow applicable site safety procedures and requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

Education

Diploma or Degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering, Security Technology, Information Technology, Networking or related field.

Professional Certifications — Advantage

Certifications related to CCTV / Surveillance systems.

Technical competency certifications such as:

Grid Contractor Qualified Person (GCQP)

Chargeman B0 / B1 / B4

Site Safety Supervisor (SSS)

NIOSH-Tenaga Safety Leader Passport (NTSLP)

CIDB Green Card

Experience

Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in technical, field operations, CCTV / security systems, electrical, networking or related projects.

Experience in coordinating technical teams or site operations will be an advantage.

Skills

Strong technical, leadership, planning and coordination skills.

Good understanding of CCTV systems, electrical works, networking and troubleshooting.

Good reporting, communication and problem-solving skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Personal Attributes

Willing and able to travel between sites within the Eastern Zone.
