Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Field Technician (Eastern Zone) to carry out CCTV installation, upgrades, preventive and corrective maintenance, testing and commissioning at project sites across the Eastern Zone in line with technical standards and safety rules.

You will troubleshoot systems, support site activities, report completion status and defects, and maintain tools and documentation; willingness to travel between sites and work after hours is required.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in CCTV/security systems installation/maintenance.
• Fresh graduates with suitable technical qualifications may be considered.
• Certifications related to CCTV / Surveillance are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Carry out installation, upgrade, maintenance, testing and commissioning at site.
• Perform troubleshooting and corrective works for CCTV systems.
• Support site activities according to project schedules.
• Report completion status, defects and site conditions to supervisor.
• Complete site documentation and safeguard tools and materials.

Technicians are responsible for carrying out field-level installation, upgrade, preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, testing and commissioning works for CCTV systems at assigned project sites within the Eastern Zone, in accordance with technical standards and safety requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Field Execution

• Carry out installation, upgrade, maintenance, testing and commissioning works at site as assigned.


• Perform troubleshooting and corrective works for CCTV systems and related equipment.


• Support site activities according to project schedules and requirements.

Technical Compliance

• Ensure works are performed according to technical specifications, approved procedures and safety requirements.


• Ensure CCTV systems and related equipment are installed and maintained properly.

Reporting

• Report work completion status, technical issues, defects and site conditions to the Senior Technical Executive / Team Leader.


• Complete required site documentation and work reports.


• Handle, maintain and safeguard tools, equipment and materials used for site works.


• Report damaged, missing or defective equipment to the relevant person in charge.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

Education & Experience

• -Relevant qualification and/or experience in CCTV / security systems installation and maintenance, electrical, networking or related technical fields.


• -Fresh graduates with relevant technical qualifications may be considered.

• -Certifications related to CCTV / Surveillance systems.


• -NIOSH-Tenaga Safety Passport (NTSP).


• -CIDB Green Card.

Personal Attributes

• -Willing and able to travel between project sites within the Eastern Zone.


• -Willing to work after hours, overtime or be on standby when required.


• -Physically fit for field and site work.


• -Responsible, disciplined and safety-conscious.
