The Senior Technical Lead is responsible for providing senior-level technical support, implementation, integration, and troubleshooting for Medical IT solutions, including PACS, RIS, VNA, CVIS and related healthcare systems. This role serves as a key technical reference within the team, taking ownership of complex technical matters, supporting project delivery, and providing guidance to engineers. The Senior Technical Lead will also work closely with customers, vendors and regional/global support teams to ensure systems are implemented and supported effectively.
Lead technical implementation, configuration, upgrade and migration activities for Medical IT solutions.
Support installation and commissioning of servers, storage, virtualization, database and related infrastructure.
Review technical requirements and identify risks, dependencies or implementation issues.
Support UAT, go-live and post-go-live stabilization activities.
Ensure assigned technical activities are completed according to project timelines.
Configure, test and troubleshoot integrations involving DICOM, DICOM Modality Worklist, HL7 ADT/ORM/ORU, HIS/RIS/PACS, VNA, CVIS and other third‑party clinical systems.
Coordinate with hospital IT teams, HIS vendors, modality vendors and other external parties during integration activities.
Analyse application and interface logs to identify and resolve integration issues.
Act as a senior escalation point for complex technical and system‑related issues.
Perform troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis for application, infrastructure, database, storage, network and integration issues.
Coordinate with Fujifilm regional/global support teams and third‑party vendors when escalation is required.
Recommend corrective and preventive actions for recurring issues.
Support critical incidents and system recovery when required.
Provide technical guidance to engineers on implementation, troubleshooting and system architecture.
Coach junior and mid‑level engineers in resolving technical issues.
Conduct internal knowledge‑sharing and technical training where required.
Support the development of technical SOPs, checklists and best practices.
Promote stronger technical ownership and structured troubleshooting within the team.
Prepare and maintain system architecture and network diagrams, installation and configuration records, interface documentation, upgrade and migration plans, troubleshooting records, and technical handover documentation.
Ensure documentation is updated following major system or configuration changes.
Provide technical advice and recommendations to customers.
Work closely with hospital IT teams, users, vendors and internal stakeholders.
Communicate technical issues clearly and professionally.
Escalate project, commercial or scope‑related matters to the Assistant Manager / Manager – Project & Technical where appropriate.
Provide technical input for tenders, proposals and solution designs.
Review customer technical requirements and recommend suitable system architecture.
Support technical discussions, site assessments and solution presentations.
Identify technical assumptions, risks and dependencies during solution planning.
Candidates must possess diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Biomedical Engineering, Healthcare Informatics or equivalent.
Minimum 3 years' experience implementing healthcare imaging solutions.
Experience with PACS, RIS, 3D, or Enterprise Imaging.
Experience in customer‑facing implementation.
Preferably candidate with experience/knowledge in Synapse Enterprise Imaging, DICOM workflow, HL7, Windows Server Storage, Virtualization, Networking, & Infrastructure and clinical workflow.
Good in customer communication, project coordination, problem solving, application troubleshooting, training & presentation, team collaboration, and documentation.
Willingness to travel and support offsite deployments.
Flexibility for after‑hours support during critical implementations.
