Job summary

Renesas Electronics in Malaysia is seeking a Sr. Staff Strategic Capacity PM to own long-term capacity gap identification, provide solution proposals, and lead initiatives to align capacity with business needs across multiple sites.

The role focuses on developing integrated demand/capacity models, maintaining capacity profiles by site, supporting surge planning, and driving data-driven bottleneck resolution through cross-functional program management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, supply chain planning, or operations strategy.
• Strong understanding of semiconductor fabrication and supply chain with PM leadership experience.
• Advanced analytical and modeling skills (Excel, VCO, AI Optimization, SQL, Python, or similar tools).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Preferred MBA or Master’s degree in Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain or related field.

Responsibilities

• Staff Strategic Capacity PM to own long-term capacity gap identification, provide solution proposals, and lead the initiatives to solve capacity constraints.
• Develop integrated demand/capacity models, maintain internal and external supply chain capacity profiles by site, support surge planning, and lead constraint engineering to identify bottlenecks.
• Lead data-driven root cause analysis to isolate constraint drivers and quantify business impact.
• Manage constraint resolution initiatives across cross-functional teams from detection through mitigation and recurrence prevention.
• Drive improvements to capacity predictability and tie capacity investments to business needs.
