Renesas Electronics Corp. in Penang seeks a Senior Manager, Industrial Engineering & Planning to lead capacity planning, master production scheduling, and throughput improvements for our back-end assembly and test facility.

You will drive S&OP cycles, bottleneck removal, Lean/Six Sigma initiatives, and automation roadmaps, partnering with Sales, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Equipment and Quality to translate demand into executable plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial/Manufacturing, Electrical/Electronic, or Mechanical Engineering.
• 10+ years in semiconductor/high-volume electronics manufacturing.
• 3+ years managing people.
• Knowledge of SEMI E10, WIP, and cycle time management.
• Proven Lean/Six Sigma improvements with measurable gains.
• Experience with MES, APS/scheduling and data tools (SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Python).
• Proven leadership in hiring and developing engineering talent.

Responsabilités

• Own capacity planning, master production schedule, and loading plans against demand forecasts.
• Lead bottleneck analysis and drive OEE, UPH, utilization, and X-factor improvements.
• Lead a team of industrial engineers, planners, and analysts.
• Run S&OP and capacity reviews with Sales, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing.
• Own factory layout, line balancing, standard times, and equipment ratios.
• Build simulation and what-if models to justify capex and expansion decisions.
• Lead Lean/Six Sigma continuous improvement to reduce cost, scrap, and downtime.
• Drive automation roadmap and ROI for NPI and technology transfer.
• Own MES/APS and scheduling rules; promote AI and analytics in operations.
• Report site KPIs to senior leadership and drive corrective actions.
