Job summary

Entrust is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer/Senior Presales Engineer to support customers across APAC, helping solve complex digital identity and fraud challenges. In this highly customer-facing role, you will partner with Sales to design identity verification experiences, guide trials, and lead technical validations across fintech, payments and eCommerce.

Qualifications

• Senior presales/solutions engineering with strong customer engagement.
• Ability to lead value-based conversations using structured sales methodologies.
• Solid RESTful API understanding and modern integration patterns.
• Experience guiding developers through API/SDK integrations.
• Proactive, ownership-oriented problem solving.
• Experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Product and Customer Success.
• Experience in SaaS or cloud environments.
• Fluent in English and Malay.
• Familiarity with identity verification, CIAM, IAM, or fraud prevention tech.
• Experience in fintech, financial services, payments, or cybersecurity.
• Knowledge of security principles and regulatory frameworks (GDPR, eIDAS 2.0, AML/KYC).
• Experience working across APAC markets.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales to diagnose customer challenges and tailor solutions.
• Design identity verification experiences and API/SDK integrations.
• Lead trials and POCs with defined success criteria.
• Support RFPs/RFIs with technical guidance.
• Build demos and example integrations for use cases.
• Collaborate with Product to share customer insights.
• Drive adoption of new features across APAC.
• Represent Entrust at events and webinars.
• Ensure secure, compliant user journeys across regulated regions.
