Job summary

Snowflake is seeking a Senior Solution Engineer (Expansion) in Malaysia to lead technical expansion for Telco and Financial Services customers. You will collaborate with Account Executives to drive adoption, identify new workloads, and guide customers on Snowflake architecture and ROI.

You will present technology to executives, run POCs, and orchestrate internal resources to deliver impactful data, analytics, and AI solutions, shaping Snowflake’s presence in the region.

Qualifications

7+ years in a customer-facing technical role in data/analytics/cloud space.
Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (e.g., Python).
Hands-on expertise with cloud data platforms and data warehousing.
Experience designing architectures for data integration, warehousing, BI/analytics, ML workloads.
Industry focus in Telco and/or Financial Services is a plus.
Strong communication, presentation, and collaboration with sales and tech teams.

Responsibilities

Own the technical expansion strategy for Telco & FSI customers in Malaysia.
Present Snowflake technology and vision to executives and technical stakeholders.
Lead POCs and pilots to prove value and guide architecture decisions.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to execute expansion plans.
