Job summary

EPAM Systems in Malaysia is seeking a Senior Data Engineer (Snowflake) to design and optimize ELT pipelines, build analytics-ready data models and improve reliability across ingestion, orchestration and monitoring. You will use Snowflake, SQL, Python and Azure Data Factory to deliver trusted datasets for teams daily.

Qualifications

• Experience designing ELT/ETL pipelines with Snowflake
• Strong SQL with complex transformations and data validation
• Python development for data processing and tooling
• Azure Data Factory for orchestration and monitoring

Responsibilities

• Design, build and support ETL and ELT pipelines using Snowflake and Azure data services
• Develop ingestion and transformation processes for batch and incremental loads
• Model analytics-ready datasets for reporting and business analysis
• Write and maintain SQL and Python transformations, validations and reusable components
• Tune Snowflake performance across warehouses, queries, loading and cost efficiency
• Implement orchestration, scheduling, monitoring, alerting and recovery patterns
• Embed engineering practices across testing, deployment, CI/CD, documentation and data quality
• Mentor engineers through reviews, pairing and shared standards
