Job summary

Aspiro Sdn Bhd is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to design end-to-end AI systems and deliver scalable solutions that meet business needs. You will communicate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders and drive successful implementation.

You will architect systems from data ingestion to model serving, design APIs and cloud infrastructure, and balance performance, maintainability, and cost. This role requires strong experience in AI engineering and client-facing delivery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software or data engineering, with at least 2+ years in a senior technical/solutions-architect role.
• Proven track record delivering complex technical solutions in client-facing or consulting environments.
• Deep proficiency in C# or Java; strong API design and cloud awareness.

Responsibilities

• Connect with business users to understand needs and translate them into technical blueprints.
• Produce architecture diagrams and clear technical documentation.
• Design, develop and deploy end-to-end technical AI solutions within an AI ecosystem.
• Write engineering-grade prompts and System Prompts to improve AI output quality.
• Review AI-generated code, detect hallucinations, and optimize for production-grade outcomes.
• Design and deploy scalable APIs and microservices.

Job description

We are looking for a Senior AI Engineer who can design end-to-end AI systems and deliver scalable solutions based on business needs, communicate them clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and drive successful implementation.

You are an architect who thinks in systems. You understand how the pieces fit together, from raw data ingestion to model serving, from API design to cloud infrastructure, and you know how to make trade-offs that balance performance, maintainability, and cost.

What You'll Do:

• Connect with business users, understand business needs and translate business requirements into technical blueprints
• Produce clear technical documentation and architecture diagrams
• Design, develop and implement end-to-end technical solutions, orchestrating within an AI ecosystem
• Write engineering-grade prompts, including complex, well-structured System Prompts, using appropriate prompting techniques to consistently improve AI output quality.
• Critically review AI-generated code, identify hallucinations, and perform deep optimizations to ensure production-grade outcomes
• Design and deploy scalable APIs and microservices

Who we looking for?

• 5 years and above working experience in software or data engineering, with at least 2 years in a solutions architect or senior technical role
• Track record of delivering complex technical solutions in client-facing or consulting environments
• Deep proficiency in at least one of the following languages: C# or Java
• Familiarity with LLM, RAG pipelines and prompt engineering at scale
• An advanced user of any AI coding tools (such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Replit AI, Windsurf, Continue, etc.) is an added advantage
• Proven Success Track Record: You must have at least one (1) successful end-to-end implementation of an AI solution (Generative AI, Agentic Workflows, or LLM-driven Automation) currently live in a production environment.
