Job summary

Gloo is seeking an AI/ML leader in Ipoh to drive R&D and AI strategy, coordinating cross-functional teams to identify high-impact AI opportunities and to prototype, test, and scale ML solutions.

Applicants should have 2+ years applying AI with ML, TensorFlow, Python, and NLP; experience in REST APIs, NoSQL, RDBMS design; cloud exposure; and a path to leadership with growth potential and ESOS.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience in applying AI to practical and comprehensive technology solutions.
• Experience with ML, deep learning, TensorFlow, Python, NLP.
• Experience in program leadership, governance, and change enablement.
• Knowledge of basic algorithms, object-oriented and functional design principles, and best-practice patterns.
• Experience in REST API development, NoSQL database design, and RDBMS design and optimizations.
• Experience with cloud environments.
• Applicants must be willing to work in Ipoh, Perak.
• Education: Bachelor's (Preferred).
• Experience: Artificial Intelligence: 1 year (Preferred).

• Lead cross-functional teams in identifying and prioritizing key areas of a partner’s business where AI solutions can drive significant business benefit.
• Analyze and explain AI and machine learning solutions while setting and maintaining high ethical standards.
• Work on functional design, process design, prototyping, testing, training, and defining support procedures with an advanced engineering team.
• Collaborate across teams to align AI initiatives with organizational goals and integrate ML models within our infrastructure.
• Keep abreast of latest AI developments and suggest improvements to existing systems and workflows to maintain competitive edge.
• Continuously evaluate and iterate on machine learning models based on metrics and feedback from operational teams.
• Serve as liaison between stakeholders and project teams, delivering feedback and enabling changes in product performance.
