Job summary

RHB Bank Berhad in Kuala Lumpur seeks a relationship-focused banker to maintain and deepen a core portfolio of 30 Middle Market/SME clients. You will drive primary sales by acquiring new SME customers and by extending loans to existing clients, while ensuring credit quality and smooth processing.

In collaboration with product specialists and Account Managers, you will prepare credit proposals, vet Letters of Offer, and monitor customer experience to prevent delays in turnaround times.

Qualifications

• Experience with Middle Market/SME clients or banking relationships.
• Ability to assess credit quality and alignment with policy.
• Proven track record in acquiring new SME customers and growing portfolios.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and deepen relationships with a core portfolio of 30 SME clients.
• Drive primary sales through acquisition of new Middle Market/SME customers and new loans to existing clients.
• Engage via account planning with product specialists to tailor offerings.
• Monitor customer experience and address process lapses or delays in TAT.
• Ensure customers meet basic credit requirements and manage NPL within budget.
• Provide qualitative credit assessment for each application and work with Account Managers on proposals.
• Vet, sign and deliver Letters of Offer.
