Job summary

RHB Group is seeking a Credit Manager to deepen relationships with a focused portfolio of 30 Middle Market/SME clients in Malaysia. You will drive new business through SME acquisitions and extend lending to existing clients, while coordinating with product specialists to tailor offerings and ensuring timely processes.

The role requires 3+ years of credit experience with strong analytical and writing skills, plus a proactive, energetic mindset to achieve targets and maintain high service quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking, Marketing or equivalent.
• Min 3 years credit experience including credit risk management, processing, evaluation and appraisal.
• Strong credit writing and analytical skills.
• Ability to network, know markets, and drive sales.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and deepen relationships with a core portfolio of 30 Middle Market/SME clients.
• Drive primary sales via new Middle Market/SME customers and through new loans to existing clients.
• Plan accounts with product specialists to tailor offerings based on client needs.
• Monitor customer experience and address any lapses or delays in TAT.
• Prepare qualitative credit assessments and collaborate with Account Managers on credit proposals.
