Job summary

ROSE JAYA RESOURCES is seeking a Senior Site Engineer (Construction) to lead site activities in Malaysia. The role focuses on planning, coordination, and monitoring to ensure works align with the approved programme and schedule.

You will supervise construction, enforce safety compliance, coordinate with consultants and subcontractors, and manage technical submissions, drawings, ITPs, tests and handover documents. Strong leadership and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Plan, coordinate and monitor daily site activities against the approved work programme.
• Supervise construction works in accordance with drawings, specs and safety rules.
• Conduct site inspections and coordinate ITPs, tests and quality inspections.
• Review drawings, method statements and technical submissions.
• Monitor progress, cost implications and prepare progress records.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Project Manager, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and authorities.
• Ensure compliance with construction standards and safety regulations on site.
• Provide technical guidance and resolve site-related engineering issues.
• Prepare daily and progress reports, RFIs and drawings revisions.
• Assist in testing, commissioning and project handover activities.
