Job summary

ROSE JAYA RESOURCES is seeking a Senior Site Supervisor (Construction) to oversee daily construction activities on site, ensuring workmanship meets drawings, specs and method statements. You will coordinate workers and subcontractors, manage materials and equipment, and ensure safe, timely progress in line with the project programme.

Responsibilities include QA/QC inspections, progress reporting, and liaising with the Site Engineer and consultants.

• Site Supervision and Monitoring: Supervise and monitor daily construction activities to ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications and method statements.
• Site Supervision and Monitoring: Monitor workmanship and ensure construction activities comply with project requirements and quality standards.
• Site Supervision and Monitoring: Ensure work progress is in accordance with the approved construction programme.
• Workforce and Subcontractor Coordination: Coordinate and supervise site workers, subcontractors and construction teams.
• Workforce and Subcontractor Coordination: Allocate daily work assignments and monitor workforce productivity.
• Workforce and Subcontractor Coordination: Ensure sufficient manpower, materials, tools and equipment are available to support site activities.
• Quality Control and Inspection: Inspect completed and ongoing works to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Quality Control and Inspection: Identify construction defects and ensure rectification works are carried out accordingly.
• Quality Control and Inspection: Coordinate site inspections with the Site Engineer, consultants and relevant parties.
• Construction Progress Reporting: Monitor daily site progress and report work status, delays and site constraints to the Site Engineer or Project Manager.

• Health, Safety and Environmental Compliance: Ensure workers comply with site safety procedures and the use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Health, Safety and Environmental Compliance: Monitor site housekeeping, access routes and safe working conditions.
• Health, Safety and Environmental Compliance: Report unsafe conditions, incidents and potential hazards to the Safety and Health Officer or site management.
• Drawing and Technical Coordination: Refer to approved construction drawings, specifications and method statements before commencing work.
• Drawing and Technical Coordination: Report discrepancies between site conditions and approved drawings to the Site Engineer for clarification.
• Drawing and Technical Coordination: Coordinate daily site activities with the engineering team to ensure proper execution of works.
