Job summary

Nexperia in Shah Alam, Malaysia, seeks a Mechanical/Electrical or Mechatronics engineer with 5+ years in semiconductor/electronics manufacturing to install, set up and buy off new machines at customer sites. You will support assembly sites in problem solving after release and assist suppliers in troubleshooting during serial production.

You will also engage in product development, prototype testing, and training at customers.

Qualifications

• Degree holder in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in semiconductor/electronics manufacturing.
• Solid experience with high-precision assembly equipment.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, set up and buy off new machines/modules at customer sites.
• Support assembly sites in problem solving after machine release.
• Assist suppliers in technical trouble shooting during serial production.
• Provide feedback to the product team from customer feedback during development.
